socketing a weapon?

[:1]hey guys just wondering if i can add sockets to a superior phase blade?

its got 15ed so getting 5os would be lovely |||Cube will not work with superior items, quest will give it max sockets according to item level (=6 sockets in this case).|||Quote:

The number of sockets created will vary. The item must be normal and unsocketed. Low-quality items and superior items do not work. The item gets 1-6 sockets, randomly. However, the number of sockets is then restricted by the maximum number of sockets that base item with that ilvl can have. For example, if you have an item that can only have 2 sockets, there's a 5/6 chance of getting 2 sockets and a 1/6 chance of getting 1 socket.




Larzuk always give the max amount of sockets, so no.|||dammit, :'(

would it be worth 'larzuking' though? or do people not tend to go for 6os phase blade?|||In my own experience, I say no, it's not worth "larzuking." There are just not many (popular) uses of a 6os phase blade. More importantly, if you happen to have all the high runes to make the good runewords, you might rather use them to make an even better item.

I have been keeping a few superior 6os and superior plain phase blades on my mules; so I can "larzuk" the plain ones and get 6os. No traders I have ever met wanted a 6os phase blade. In fact, not even myself have ever used one to make anything lol. I became to suspect that 6os phase blade was not hard to find/make.

Anyway, if you can spare a larzuk quest reward from a mule, you can always just "larzuk" it and don't worry about it. Might come in handy when some one wants it.|||Quote:

Only useful weapon which you can make with 6s PB is Silence. Can be good choice for Uber smiter in case you have low resistances.|||Quote:
