Hi I haven't played in a long time. Was just wondering how is cow making ablility lost again. If I am in the cow level that I made and someone not in my party kills teh cow king....will I loose my ability to make the cow level? Thanks for the help!|||Quote:
Finally, it is IMPORTANT to know that you can only open the Portal to the Secret Cow Level ONCE per Difficulty level. If anyone in your party kills the Cow King, you will not be able to open another portal. You will, however, be able to enter a Portal opened by someone else in a Multiplayer game if they open it for you.

Moo! All the pesky details concerning the rules for killing the Cow King and all the circumstances for which one may kill the king without ruining the quest flag for others. While this guide was written with D2Classic players in mind, the same rules apply to LOD (just substitute Baal for Diablo).
Arreat summit isn't quite right, someone in your party can in fact kill cow without you loosing the ability to open the portal under some circumstances, details in the guide by Tempus.
