chests in cow level question

it seems that if you clear a level, (say cow level) without popping chests , on /players 1 for fast killspeed, and then do /players 8 and start popping chests, they will drop at the higher playerlevel with more drops (and higher chance of getting runes)



is this true ?

I know hell cows can drop up to Zod, but what about the chests/rocks/dead rogues in the cow level ? (hell difficulty)





thanks !|||Yes to the /players question. They will drop many more items on average on higher players settings.

Cow level counts as Act I, so I assume the chest drops are similar to other Act I Hell chest drops from areas with around the same area level as the cow level. I think there is a certain cap at work here, so I�d be surprised if you can get the highest runes. Would be nice to know what�s possible here...|||Highest from A1 Hell chests is Vex.|||even in area 85 area's? Like the pits?|||The area level has no influence on TCs of chests. It depends on the act and if it's early or late in the act. You won't find a Zod rune or colossus blade in a chest of the Pits. That will need a late act 5 one AFAIK.
