Try ACT 1 - Cold Plains|||Cows have pretty good odds of dropping gems and the like, don't they? I'm not sure what quality they can drop drop though.|||Cows at normal difficulty can drop up to flawless gems with probability from highest to lowest - normal, flawed, chipped, flawless.
Obviously monsters that can drop only chipped gems have highest chance to drop them. And wraith type monsters have highest chance for good drop(here are gems, runes and jewelry). So best for chipped gems are Ghouls in Tower lvls and Specters in Cathedral and Jail lvls.|||Ye, cows are easy to find (
) and kill en masse though.|||Well, normal cows' chance for gem drops are not bad at all. But they will drop mostly normal quality gems.

That will only work if you mean it, but you won't need them then.|||I always get a crap-ton of chips from norm act2 tombs. Just walk around with a holy freeze merc and everything explodes. Also, kick every urn.
